2 – 2.30 pm:

Opening of the Northern Consultation: welcome, prayers, presentation. Reports and conclusions of previous Northern Consultations. Programme of this Consultation. The Strategic Framework 2008 – 2010.

2.30 – 4 pm:

Plenary Session on Communications and Networking. Strategy nr 8. Chair: Giovanni Scudiero and Martha Iñes Romero. Read agenda in 2008-0395-en-gl-IS.

4 pm: Coffee and Thee

4.30 – 6 pm

• Parallel session on Violence in society // Increased violence by youth in schools - Human and community security: Learning to live together - Peace Education and Living Together - Strategy nr 3. Chair: Loreta Castro and Maria Luisa Da Silva. Read agenda in
• Parallel session on Peace and Environment. Climate Change and Ecological Factors of Violent Conflicts. Exploitation of natural resources (mining, water, wood…) and its consequences: increase in violence/ war; increased poverty in the South; IDP, refugees, migration towards North; heavy pressure on environment which becomes more fragile.
