http://peace-circuit.com/2011test/english/index.html.

Comunicato originale

PLEASE SEND THIS OUT AS FAR AS YOU CAN.

Dear Friend of Hiroshima,

I'm genuinely excited to share something I've been working on with some
fantastic producers and musicians. We are creating an Internet event called
Peace Week to promote the Mayors for Peace Vision Campaign for 2020. For
the week from Aug 3 to 10 we will have a website up that will offer a wide
range of recorded and live streaming music and messages about peace, nuclear
weapons and the world we want to live in. Please click here to see the test
site:

http://peace-circuit.com/2011test/english/index.html

When you open it, if you hear my message in Japanese, just go to ³TOP² and
press the button for English.
We have been reaching out to artists and individuals to contribute their
music and messages, and during that week the materials will be up on the
site. Some of the links will take you to live performances that we expect
will receive global attention through our networks.

If you are a musician or poet, I hope you will send us a performance ¬
anything from one song to a three-hour gig. We will make it available on
this site for one week.

If you have something to say about peace or nuclear weapons, I hope you will
send us your recorded message. We will insert it like an advertisement
within a performance or make it available on its own.

If you are connected with a club, after-school program, jazz house or other
performance venue, I hope you will arrange for that venue to record and and
send us a peace-related performance. Better yet, please link to us for live
broadcasting sometime during Peace Week. For technical and scheduling
information, please contact Kazutoshi Kurita at Peace Circuit.

kurita13@gmail.com

This is all being done on a voluntary basis and is simply a wonderful way to
share your music, message or venue with a wide audience at an important
time.

I hope you go to the test site and get inspired! A few dedicated people in
Tokyo are giving us this incredible opportunity to link musicians and
artists and men and women of words around the world who believe in peace and
have creativity and insight. If you are interested but need more
information, feel free to contact me. I will send get you whatever
information you need or refer you to the folks who can answer your
questions.

There is not much time until Peace Week - it's only a couple weeks away, so
please act quickly. Please at least inform your list or community or
Facebook friends. Help us make it at least successful enough to continue
next year. One goal is to grow year by year until we are an Internet event
that people look forward to each year. But our main goal is to help the
world think more how much fun a peaceful world could be.

Sincerely,

Steve Leeper
