'The Seeds Beneath the Snow' is a non-profit association founded in the spring of 2006. It is based in Pisa, Italy. Hanno voluto demistificare la presunta "neutralità" della scienza e hanno messo al centro la salute collettiva contro gli interessi economici della produzione industriale inquinante. La storica lotta contro l'inquinamento cancerogeno del Petrolchimico di Porto Marghera a Venezia.
Il progressivo deterioramento, statisticamente documentabile, della salute collettiva per l'incidenza crescente di tutte le malattie legate alla nocività è il portato del modo di produzione capitalistico. Ciò significa per noi puntare su tutte le forme di autogestione.
Il 9 settembre 2026 la Corte d'Appello di Milano si è espressa sulla richiesta di sospensione dell'efficacia esecutiva del decreto n. 425/2026. Tale decreto della stessa Corte d'Appello, datato 9 luglio 2026, imponeva lo stop delle attività produttive dell'area a caldo.
