We translate from the mailing list pace@peacelink.it three brief pieces of information about Ukraine. There, a senseless and cruel war is being fought that could be avoided by resorting to diplomacy and tools for expressing popular will.
The ones dying are young and inexperienced soldiers, sent to their deaths (with our weapons) in the prime of their lives, employed in suicidal operations to demonstrate that Ukraine does not give up. The valid core of the Ukrainian army has already withdrawn.

The Pentagon’s long hand behind events in Ukraine?
Today, an impressive march for peace, starting in Times Square and ending with a packed rally at the nearby People’s Forum, called for ending NATO intervention in Ukraine as the key to stopping hostilities there. The slogan for the event says it all:
NATO EXPANSION – NO! || PEACE IN UKRAINE – YES!
Per PeaceLink occorre fare pressione sul governo italiano e in particolare sul ministro degli Esteri perché prenda posizione a favore del rinnovo del Trattato New START e della filosofia che lo ha ispirato: mantenere al livello più basso possibile l'equilibrio delle forze nucleari strategiche.
Oggi il boicottaggio non si fonda più soltanto su elenchi statici, ma su app e piattaforme digitali che permettono di informarsi in tempo reale, di incrociare dati, di scegliere consapevolmente cosa acquistare o non acquistare.
