Opening of the Northern Consultation: welcome, prayers, presentation. Reports and conclusions of previous Northern Consultations. Programme of this Consultation. The Strategic Framework 2008 – 2010.

2.30 – 4 pm:

Plenary Session on Communications and Networking. Strategy nr 8. Chair: Giovanni Scudiero and Martha Iñes Romero. Read agenda in 2008-0395-en-gl-IS.

4 pm: Coffee and Thee

4.30 – 6 pm

• Parallel session on Peace and Environment. Climate Change and Ecological Factors of Violent Conflicts. Exploitation of natural resources (mining, water, wood…) and its consequences: increase in violence/ war; increased poverty in the South; IDP, refugees, migration towards North; heavy pressure on environment which becomes more fragile.     Mobilitiamoci per interrompere il memorandum d'intesa militare con Israele

    Collaborare con un governo che bombarda ospedali, scuole e campi profughi è complicità. Occorre chiedere al Governo italiano di denunciare il Memorandum entro la scadenza dell'8 giugno 2025. Altrimenti si rinnova automaticamente.

    Boicottare l'industria bellica israeliana

    Siamo in tempo per mobilitarci. Infatti la Commissione Difesa del Senato non ha ancora espresso il parere sullo schema di decreto del Ministro della Difesa relativo alla prosecuzione dei programmi di ammodernamento e rinnovamento SMD 03/2020 e SMD 37/2021, con scadenza fissata al 26 maggio 2025.

    La seduta dura 5 minuti: comincia alle 13.40 e termina alle 13.45. Riportiamo il resoconto nel quale non viene mai citata la Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) e la sua divisione ELTA Systems che forniscono la tecnologia militare. Ma i deputati lo sanno?
