I DIRITTI DELLE PERSONE CON DISABILITA'
dalle Nazioni Unite alla Regione Lazio.

Le conquiste del passato ormai da qualche anno sono messe duramente in discussione da tagli pesantissimi a tutti i fondi nazionali riguardanti le politiche sociali. Abbiamo assistito ad una destra spesso non all’altezza della situazione se non addirittura impegnata a fare tutt’altro, come ci ricordano i fatti tristemente noti che hanno riguardato la Regione Lazio.

E’ dai principi affermati nel testo della “Convenzione ONU sui diritti delle persone con disabilità” che intendiamo ripartire per aprire una riflessione su Roma, sulla Regione Lazio, sul Governo del Paese.

Ratificata nel 2009, la Convenzione è stata quasi sempre lettera morta se non in pochissime regioni (ovviamente non stiamo parlando della Regione Lazio) nelle quali sono state quantomeno approvate leggi di recepimento dei principi affermati nella Convenzione stessa e si è proceduto all’istituzione di un Osservatorio così come avvenuto a livello nazionale.
