The Pentagon’s long hand behind events in Ukraine?
Today, an impressive march for peace, starting in Times Square and ending with a packed rally at the nearby People’s Forum, called for ending NATO intervention in Ukraine as the key to stopping hostilities there. The slogan for the event says it all:
NATO EXPANSION – NO! || PEACE IN UKRAINE – YES!
I appeal to the Government of Japan. ...
Fix your sights on the future, and please consider a conversion from a “nuclear umbrella” to a “non-nuclear umbrella”.

In a memorable ceremony on October 25, 2013, a delegation of Japanese citizens made an emotional apology to the citizens of Nanjing, China for the massacre by the Japanese Imperial Army of 300,000 Chinese in the city of Nanjing in a six week period in 1937 during the Second Sino-Japanese War and the rape of thousands of women before they were put to death.

We greet the morning of the 68th return of “that day.” At 8:15 a.m., August 6, 1945, a single atomic bomb erased an entire family. “The baby boy was safely born. Just as the family was celebrating, the atomic bomb exploded. Showing no mercy, it took all that joy and hope along with the new life.”
'The Seeds Beneath the Snow' is a non-profit association founded in the spring of 2006. It is based in Pisa, Italy.
The seeds are the themes it aims to deal with: nonviolence, peace, human rights and the environment. A tri-lingual (Japanese-Italian-English) library has been set up, as well as this website.
Oggi 8 giugno 2025 scade il Memorandum. Dopo di che vi sarebbe il rinnovo tacito. Secondo il governo tale rinnovo avverrebbe invece il 13 aprile 2026. Cerchiamo di capire perché e cosa possiamo fare per revocare il Memorandum che ci rende complici con il governo israeliano e le sue forze armate.
