Ci sarà un secondo ricorso contro il maxi-inceneritore di Hera e a presentarlo sarà il movimento referendario. Nell’assemblea di giovedì sera, infatti, i refendari con Medicina democratica in prima fila, hanno deciso di contestare di fronte al Tar anche l’Autorizzazione integrata ambientale-bis, emessa dalla Provincia nel marzo scorso, che ha fatto decadere i due ricorsi in piedi contro l’Aia di ottobre 2007.

E' imminente una nuova legislazione sui rifiuti che il Parlamento europeo voterà a brevissimo e che il Consiglio dei Ministri (formato dai rappresentanti dei Governi dell'UE, che avrà l'ultima parola) "chiuderà" al massimo a Giugno. Da parte delle lobby dell'incenerimento è in corso il tentativo di far riclassificare la gerarchia dello smaltimento dei rifiuti in modo che l'incenerimento sia identificato come attività di recupero equiparabile al riciclaggio e sia sottratto alla categoria residuale dello smaltimento.
